About the buttons and how pressing them for a while starts to hurt, I just got the Silicone Skin from Creative and it has a softer cover for the buttons. BIG help.

My silicone case comes in the mail tomorrow.

The pads of my fingers are pretty insensitive (due to calluses) so maybe that's why the keys really don't bother me. Of course, I've only had it for two days.

Wow, I was really considering an X-Fi when my Zune 80 dies but I think I'll pass.

My ZVM froze ALOT when I would click next or fast forward (which I did frequently). Seems Creative hasn't addressed this. I'll still check in every now and then to see if they fix it.

While I understand there are freezes but I think it is something that cannot be avoid.

Ever used windows in your life that didnt crash?

Unfortunately there is nothing as a 100% uncrashable system

Well, I know I'll be crucified for this, but my iPod Nano NEVER crashed on me. I have experience about 3 crashes with the X-Fi already. Kind of annoying...

My zune has never crashed on me either. This "fact of life" excuse is BS...

All DAPs are prone to crash. However, it's the frequency and population of crashes which need to raise a flag. my iPod seldon crashes, maybe once, and the only time my iRiver H320 crashed was when it was running Rockbox. So far my Clip never crashed.

i didn't say that it's BS that it happens once, it's BS to say that regular crashing is a fact of life...not all electronics are as shitty as the X-fi...most others can go more than a day without crashing
