Default On/off switch stuck in "on"

On/Off switch is stuck in "on" position (it can't be moved move across to "off"), therefore cannot turn off and battery runs down quickly.

Any ideas?

Did you try removing the switch cover? There are plenty of threads regarding disassembling the player.

Hello peterdur. Welcome. Yeah, it seems like either the switch is broke or there may be something blocking the switch. If warranty issues aren't a concern, I would suggest opening the ZVM up and taking a look at the switch like zenjitsu mentions. Please see these links for information:
