I don't think so. It has a rubber like coating on it, probably plastic underneath.

Only the black ones have a rubber coating.

I have a gray one and a red one and they both have it.

ah nice, thanks for the heads up. The rubber gives it a nice feel and keeps it from sliding around.

it also makes it a little more difficult to slid in and out of my pockets, but no biggie.
