it's alive again....sorta.
So my zen just stopped working, completely dead. I got in touch with creative labs-they were not helpful. So reading an earlier thread, I learned that the batteries in our zens last about 1-2 yrs, so I brought a new lit battery from ipod99. I put the battery in and at least the blue light turned on, but still...nothing happens. The light doesn't turn off too...and my zen got hot. Can anyone offer suggestions???

I would first ask for a replacement battery. It sounds as though you may have gooten a bad/discharged battery. It isn't uncommon for this to happen.
