Dropped Zen in the toilet haha

As the title says.. Dropped my zen in the toilet (after flushing btw), but it was turned off and the battery was low. Tried turning it on after dropping it in but it wouldn't turn on cause of the low battery.. So went home and left it in the airing cupboard over night, and then tried charging it and it was charging, but now its fully charged and none of the buttons, except for the middle scroll button, will work.

Any suggestions??

Turning it back on immediately after it getting wet probably messed something up! Not sure what to do at this point! maybe someone else could help me out!

I had dropped my phone in the toilet once and most of the buttons wouldn't work correctly.

Eventually, like after a couple of weeks, the buttons started working properly so your best bet is to leave it alone for a couple weeks and make sure it stays warm and dry

Bad luck. If you're not pressed for time you could do what Lawrence suggested and give it some time. Alternatively you could disassemble it which might aid with the drying process.

versusterm1nus is correct, try to open as much as your skills allow and let it dry out completely before you try again. If it still doesn't work, try replacing the battery as a last resort, but it needs to be really dry. I put ms walkgoods phone in our hot car for two weeks and it works fine now ...

Yeah, letting it dry completely is best. Using a blow dryer sometimes may help with speeding up the drying process. Good luck!

A ziplock baggie full of uncooked rice for about a day will absorb the moisture.Then blow out any dust with a hair dryer on the NO HEAT setting. Worked on my cordless phone. Yes, it still works to this day.

Yeah, I've heard using kitty litter or those silica packs does the same, but I've never tried it before.
