Samsung T10 Wake Up Call??

If you go to that website and click on a few prompts (T10 > Highly Capable)
It shows a screen that I personally haven't seen on the T10.

From the text: "....voice & radio recording, international travel and even a wake up call..."

Your thoughts?

It's more than the screenshot that is at issue....the text description supports the new features as being added too. I'm sticking with the 4th BW explanation.

It can't just be a screenshot from k5, cause its on the samsung website!

I dont think 4th BW, but maybe a mini update, like the subway maps.

I think you will find that this is Old outdated Info, stuff that was never implemented, have a look at the T10 Specs and the P2, way way out of date.

The spec sheets are out of date for the T10,P2,S5, & T9B because they did not include the new functionality in them provided by firmware upgrades. Samsung may not update them because of older product in the supply chain may still have the 1.xx firmware. People may become upset if they turn on thier new device and it did not have these new features as indicated in the spec sheet.

Well I had a look at the ROM data with a Hex Editor, quess what the code is in there..

These are the strings that I found in old and new Firmware..

Current Time:
Alarm Time:
Wake-up Time:


Offset 46144 hex in the 3.06 LaFluer firmware


Don't forget that the P2 has V5 bluewave, ie 5.1, may be the T10 is next, came out in Sept.

After sending samsung an email about these features, this what i got:
With regard to your email concerning your Samsung MP3 player, please
note this is not a UK website and these features wont be in your model.

The firmware update won’t add these features as far as I am aware
however you can download the firmware and instructions from the link
below:
