Angry "Please Upgrade RSC File" from EmoDio
I just upgraded from my T9 to a T10. YAY.

BUT! I was going to update to Korean fware before I put music on, I had (i think it was) MTP 1.29 (US) on my T10. I installed SMS, updated that to Emodio and then after a few more updates I finally updated my T10.

It got to the third updte cycle, and now it shows "Please Upgrade RSC File". I drove 1 hour to get this, and I dont have a car- a taxi will cost... a lot to get there again...

I tried hard resetting it (hold on/off and reset for 10seconds)... i even ended up holding it for around 1 minute...

any hepl is muchly appreciated...

connect it to computer and drag & drop RSC and ROM files from 3.06 MTP US at the root

as stated- it would not copy... drag and drop is just copying, and I have tried every way of copying... I even copied using command prompt...

Hi you do a File copy to the DATA directory of a MTP T10, NOTE; you Only use the Root of the T10 when its using MSC fimware.

it doesnt have a DATA directory...

AND it wont copy!!!

EDIT: and I cannot create a folder either...

Same thing happened to me, go to samsung.com and download newest firmware. copy the files and paste it.

Yes but he is stating that he does not have a DATA directory, The File Must go in the DATA directory with a MTP version.

Sounds to me that its totaly stuffed up.

What directory it has to be put into depends on the version of Windows Media Player that is installed.

Other choices are the Root or the "Internal Storage" folder.

And don't attempt to drag the file from the zip that you did not extract, but only opened in Windows explorer by double-clicking the zip.
Do a real extraction first, then copy the file.

Also make sure that the file has the correct name. Maybe you have to rename it to T10J.RSC or to T10.RSC to make your player happy.
