How Does the ZVM Stack Up Against New Devices....

I'm remember when the ZVM came out it was the device to get the; the "Ipod killer." But now new devices have come out that have taken the game to a new level. You've got new devices that are thinner, more memory, more functions, and etc. I'm curious as to where you owners see the ZVM fitting into these new lineup of devices? Still around the top or has fallen off.

I still love my ZVM but every now and again I get tempted by these new devices but Ive been able to fight temptation. Main reason for the temptation is the size of these new devices compared to ZVM.

i still think its a better alternative to ipods, that is if you dont like being frustrated and dont mind not jumping on bandwagons! I usually respect somebody who owns a creative, or anything that is an alternative to ipod... heres why i think the ZVM is the better option...

- More features, inculding radio, orginizer, mic etc
- Better LCD
- AV out to watch videos on a TV
- Better battery than most
- DRAG AND DROP!!! this is the main thing, its MTP device so no drivers of specific software are needed to put music/photos on your player, just drag and drop, or use media player or the creative software. This is where the ZVM jumps ahead of the ipod.

Seriously, you'll love it, dont be fooled by the option of 160 gb, you wont ever use that up, 30 is pleeenty!

sorry, i didnt read that you already have one, i see you already love it :P
But id say dont be tempted, you'll just be satisfied by the thinness of an ipod for about 5 mins, then the novelty will wear off, and you'll wish you didn't have to use Itunes, and you'll miss being able to plug you're mp4 into someone elses computer to get their music!

Oh of course, and the file password protection feature means that those precious pictures of the reunion are safe from prying eyes too....
