Just got a great buy on Insignia ns-8v24. Broken install cd. Any idea where to get? Thanks for your time

You do not need the CD. Most likely it only has the Best Buy rebranded Rhapsody software. You should be able to plug it in and go.

It also comes with Arcsoft Media Converter 2, which can be very helpful in converting your videos if you're not sure of that specifications videos need to have to be on the Pilot.
But yes, the CD is not necessary to manage your Pilot on your computer. Just make sure you go to "Erase Internal Memory" on your Pilot before you put any music on it. That is, on the menu, go to "Settings", then "System", then click "Erase Internal Memory". If you like the songs that come with the Pilot, then make sure you copy all of the files on the Pilot to your computer before you Erase the memory, and then put them all back on after you erase the memory. Erasing the memory basically reformats your Pilot and prevents many future glitches or problems from occurring.
