how do i reset the firmware my pilot is really screwed up and i would like to reset it but i dont know how

If it ever freezes, you just hold the power switch to the right until it shuts off. You don't need to take the battery out.

But define "screwed up". Is it freezing up allot? Is the music library messed up? You might need to format it and start over. You can do this in the system menu.

ok so this is screwed up

• it doesn't charge as in it will flash the green battery and the no battery symbol

• it doesn't like to connect to my computer

• it fesszes quiet a bit

• i reformatted it and its gotn better but its still not fixed
