Anyone know how to change the FFspeed on NS-DV2GC?
With my old mp3 player, if the file was playing, it would do a slow FF. When it was paused, you could do a really fast FF. I listen to alot of long podcasts and I'd like to be able to jump forward and back in seconds rather than minutes. |

If you're using 1.2 or higher firmware, you can quickly go forward and backward with the wheel. In 1.93, hold the Play/Pause button until the context menu appears, then select Wheel Seek. In 1.2, hold the Play/Pause button for about a second until the icon in the upper-left corner changes. Then spin the wheel to quickly go to wherever you want.
1.2 also adds variable speed Fast Forward and Rewind. Hope this helps. Last edited by Parody; 10-27-2008 at 01:54 PM. Reason: Found how to see if you're in wheel seek in 1.2. How we forget! |

Thanks for the info!
I have Firmware 1.2, but the wheel only seems to control the volume on the now playing screen? WhenI hold the play/pause button down, nothing happens. The icon in the upper left corner does not change. |
