How to remove scratches from the screen?

I removed the scratch guard that came along on the T-10 because it had too many scratches.
Now after removing a couple of scratches have come on the screen and the touch pad area which don't go no matter how hard i try.
Does anyone know how to clean the screen and remove the scratches?
Also which phone or mp3 players scratch guard can i put on the t-10 so as to cover the screen as well as the touch pad?
Please help me out guys. Its helluva important.

Removing the scratch guard probably was not a good idea. Scratches can be buffed out of plastic guard the same as they can from the screen. It's looks like you found the answer in another thread but for future reference, try to polish the scratches out of the plastic shield before removing it.

I din't find the perfect method though.
I stay here in India. And here Brasso is not available.
I just have to make a choice between White toothpaste or nail paint remover.
What do you think should work?
