Help First player: total newbie needs advice on accessories

I am going to circuit city to buy the Sansa Fuze tomorrow. I cut mp3 sermons and audio files to a cd but when I have to stop halfway through on my cd/mp3 player, I have to start from the beginning again; so have spent all day researching players with the bookmark feature.

This will be used at times for travel with headphones (so hubby doesn't have to listen) and sometimes at home. I would like some kind of external speaker option to use in my study. I have a spare pair of small computer speakers, but don't think there would be a jack on the Fuze to plug them in. Since the player is for audio messages, (and hopefully audiobooks someday), but not music, speaker quality isn't a top priority.

To show how really clueless I am: what exactly is a dock If I bought the Griffin dock (still available according to the link on your forum), could I plug in my speakers, or just use my cd/mp3 player (if it has a headphone jack)?

What accessories to I really need to start? A usb charger so I don't have to use my computer? A case for traveling? Screen Protector?

My first priority after the player will be external speakers since I'm not an earphone fan. I hope to keep the price down as much as possible, but want to get accessories that will make the purchase worthwhile.

Sure could use all the advice I can get!

Most e200 accessories will work on the Fuze. The Griffin PowerDock is great if you can find it because I thought it is discontinued. You can connect speaker to it and charger it too.

If you get the Griffin PowerDock, you can use a Rzar/BlackBerry/PSP charger to charge it. You can find Rzar/BlackBerry/PSP charger real cheap at some places. Since I do not have a Fuze, I do not know what case or screen protector to get.

Thank you for the response. I just ordered the powerdock. Will have to figure out how to use it. In case anyone else is looking it is at this site:
http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/docksansa#
for 14.99 including shipping. Hope it gets to me OK!

If anyone has a link to a reputable site with the Rzar/BlackBerry/PSP charger for a good price, please share it.

I've found so much help on this site, before I joined and posted. Am relying on your expertize. Thank you!

Well I ended up ordering from Amazon. Circuit City had a restocking fee and, though I think I'll be happy with the Fuse, if for some reason, I'm not, it's cheaper to return than pay restocking. Price was the same. The best thing about Amazon is that they are one of the few places without restocking fees. I don't think Best Buy has one, but the player was $30 more expensive.
From what I've read...these forums are great, maybe when I get going I can contribute to it... I could watch for sales. I really am in a hurry though hope the free shipping time doesn't take too long for Amazon!
