OK, here's the deal.
I know a little bit about video codecs and resolution, but I'm still a rookie. I own a Cowon D2 and using Cowon Media Center is just a piece of cake. However, my girl is getting a Fuze and she told me she has a lot of FLV videos she wants to watch at her Fuze as soon as she gets it. Now, I don't want to look like a complete idiot, so, what would be the easiest or at least efficient way to do that. Thanks |

^^^ Downloads and converts videos from a variety of sites, and converts them to some formats, but not a lot. I also suggest checking out SUPER. Best freeware you will find on the net. However, I suggest checking the link I posted first. It is the least efficient way to do it. Wow, I think I was half asleep when I posted that. I meant that it requires a lot less effort. As far as I know, you need to us the Sansa Media Converter, but the Sansa Media Converter can not convert FLV's. So you need to convert them to they will need to work in Sansa Media Converter.

Hey, Thank you guys!
Yeah, I know I've got to convert them. What video formats does the Fuze support? MPEG only? Does it resize video, or you have to convert it at 224x176? Any reccomended FPS? |

Even if I'm a little late, here's a program that downloads, instantly converts, and can even cut out the audio or slice the video from youtube. It's also 100% free, there is no shareware version or some weird watermark. http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/

If you're using FireFox, just get the add-on Media Converter. From there, you can download the YouTube video into basically any format you want. Of course, this is if you are viewing them on YouTube. Just a thought. That's what I use, and it works great.

Hi. Thanks!
I actually got it really easy. With VDownloader and SMC it's just a snap. Actually if someone needs help, I think I've mastered this pretty well. |

A little late, but: http://keepvid.com. Just enter the URL of the YouTube vid and download, then transfer to Fuze with SMC. I can get a vid on my Fuze in a matter of minutes.
