I'd settle for less, at least the current firmware so we can mess with it. I'd be more than happy with just the two features listed above.

The whole SD card issue makes my 16GB card sit at home and pick up dust. That would make me consider actually fixing this player haha.

I agree about the SD card loading issue. No. 1 on my list. Now if they came out with a 16G or 32G flash memory Pilot - all my issues would be solved (I'd only use the SD card to load up the occasional video with the video out hooked up to a tv on the road).

What exactly do you mean about not being able to go back to the previous played song? (Agree it takes an extra button push but it can be done).
