Default Computer Won't Recognize Zen 8Gb.

*Bought Creative Zen 8gb December 24th 2008
*Installed Cd that it came with, rebooted computer
*Charged Zen Fully.

Problem starts now:

*Plugged in my Zen to my computer.
** Information CPU:
Windows XP Profesional version 2002 [ Service pack 3 ]
With Rhaspody and Windows Media Player 11.

It Says Found New hardware [MTP DEVICE]

Then it opens a window showing ( Found New HardWare Wizzard , MTP DEVICE)

Then i click install software automaticly, when it ends it says error [ CANNOT INSTALL THIS HARDWARE ( MTP DEVICE) ]

My zen was still connect to computer at the time. So i just moved on and went to windows media player 11. It said please plug in portable device when i clicked sync tab. ( at the time my zen was plugged in and charging ).

I tried with rhaspody, but it said no portable device shown.

Went to device manager and it said :
*portable device
** Creative Zen

At the time There was a yellow exclamation mark on the creative zen in the device manager.

i clicked it and it said (CODE 18)

Reinstall Driver for this device.

I thought i already installed the CD it came with?

Or is there a newer version for the driver out i dont now about??

My zen has fireware 1.21.01
I tried rebooting
Formating ( Great for the format part, i formated it and lost all the awsome pictures and videos and music the zen came with ) Still didnt work on recognizing my computer.

HELP???? ( i want my computer to recognize my zen, so i can put music and stuff on it ) IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK???

DID I SPEND 113$ for a faulty DEVICE????!?!?!?!

sorry im pissed , CAN SOMEONE PPLLEEAASSEE help me.

Welcome and congrats on the new Zen. You may want to check out the Zen FAQ sometime.
