IMO, the physical design of the P3 tops the S9 and the new Sony NWZ-X1000..
The P3 has an industrial yet elegant design.. and this pic epitomizes the look... ![]() The new Sony's faux-marble just doesn't do it for me.. and though I like the lines of the Cowon S9, there is just something semi-amateurish looking about it, can't quite put my finger on. I'm speaking strictly about physical design here, features/GUI/codec support etc.. are other factors entirely.... Between these 3 players, 2009 has just become a banner year for top end PMPs... I don't think you can lose by picking up any of these 3. Damn and here I was thinking that PMPs might be going the way of the Dodo...

So ready for it (32GB).... just disappointed with the release stating first half of 2009 and not sooner
. Everything posted earlier stated that the release would be right after CES.

32GB offerings from all three of the manufacturers will be compelling.. the wait OTOH will be a killer. SD-card slots are a beautiful thing, but overall I'd just as soon have more built-in flash memory.
![]() I wish the P3 had the beautiful AMOLED screens of the other two players, but the P2/P3's LCD is no slouch itself.....
