Does anyone know when the P3 will be available in Australia. I think I'm tossing up between the P3 or the Cowon S9. I want at least 16GB. They both look very impressive. I'd consider the Sony Touch model but I can't wait that long.
The play/pause at the top of the S9 could be handy. It strikes me as odd on both that the headphone jack is at the bottom with buttons at the top. Doesn't make pocket use too friendly I would think. Can anyone tell me, if I get bluetooth headphones does that mean I don't need to connect anything to the device? The poor radio mentioned in the S9 review worries me a bit. Can anyone report just how bad is it? And does anyone know how the P3 radio is? The extra battery life listed for the S9 could be a winner. Does it really get 11 hours for video. The P3 lists 5 hours. That's a massive difference. How does it do it? Thanks for all responses to come. |

seemingly most people get 9-10 hours of vid life on the S9. amoled is beautiful. it makes LCD look primitive.
yeah if you get bluetooth you don't need to connect anything to the device (if the device has BT with it) |

The S9's radio works fine, but it's autotune feature is a bit unintelligent. It will find ANY frequency that has discernable signal, but that often includes +/-.1 frequencies from the primary channel. It's not to difficult to manually delete frequencies from the list, and pretty easy to tune to and then add your own frequency to the list. Not perfect, but shouldn't be a deal killer for anyone.
