NWZ E436F Battery worries

Hi

I bought this walkman about a month ago and in general I am happy with it. However I am not sure the battery is functioning optimally. In the Sony sales info they claim that the battery life with video playback is up to 7.5 hours. However when I have been using it to watch videos the battery seems to run down in less than three hours. I have tried reducing the brightness of the screen but it doesn't seem to help much. Should I expect video battery life of 7 hours and if so how do I achieve this? Thanks very much for any comments.

It would be nice if companies started listing "average" battery life instead of perfect/best case scenarios. I guess their marketing depts wouldn't like that very much.
