I have looked around for a spare cable for my SPINN and I am getting worried now. I can't find one anywhere, not from Belkin, not from Hama, nowhere...
the SPINN specs say that it is a USB Type A to 20-pin mini B connection. Now that doesn't entail that the mini B plug is necessarily a standard USB type, though it might be, for all I know. Judging from posts in other ABI forums (Cowon S9 in particular), the 20 pin connector is used mostly in Korea. I have seen Samsung cables that looked similar, but they did not fit. The iriver website is quite frankly rubbish, and of no help at all. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a spare cable online, perhaps from a Korean online retailer? |

My Cowon S9 and SPINN cables are interchangable. If you can find a Cowon S9 cable it will work with your SPINN. I leave one hooked up to a USB port, and the cable from the other hooked to a USB charger. Both work at the PC and both charge from the USB charger.

I am told that this type of cable is popular in Korea

thanks for the hint Olley! Finding a spare cable for the Cowon S9 is a lot easier, even though it is as pricey as a proprietary cable... about 30 USD!
