WMC-NW010 cable?

i got my sony walkman, and i'm curious about the WM port to 3.5 mm jack cable function?
can i use it to play the walkman with an ipod dock that has an aux in jack?

akh, forget it. i just figure it out, what a piece of useless stuff...
it is for input not as output. we can use it by jacking it to the headphones jack on other player and use the walkman as a noice cancelling relay. pretty much useless.

i was hoping it was an output jack, so i can jack it in my old ipod dock without buying another cable...
