Default What does that icon mean?
At the top of the screen, near the middle...

looks a bit like this: |[]|

I may be ignorant but it's driving me crazy not knowing what it means and I couldn't find any indication in the manual

If it's the icon just to the left of "back" in the now playing screen, then it signifies what Play Mode you are in.

Yes, it is the vibrate icon to denote of the haptic functionality of the spinn is turned on. If you turn vibration off in the settings menu it disappears.
