Default p3 sdk
does the flash on the p3 open doors for sdk development of some sort?

and would this benefit the p2 in any way?

Well it MOST definitely would help the p3 with homebrew games, and apps. However I haven't heard anything about a SDK coming out with the p3, which is not to say that it won't come out.

YES! If you can program in flash, then you're already 85% of the way toward creating apps for the P3. More importantly they've already proven iriver SPINN games will play on the Cowon S9. I bet those same games will play on the P3. It means apps developed for any one of those players will most likely play on all three. Only the Cowon has a unique feature in it's G-sensor, which if written for would not find any data when played on the P3 or SPINN.

Does this also mean that games can be made that use the music library. Such as a guitar hero or DDR clone that uses music on the P3. That would be awesome if it did.

Is it not possible to just flash the P2 with the P3 firmware?

Yes, some features may not be available and it may mess up the bluetooth, but i think it may sill work.

SDK for the P3 was just released in Korea some time ago so I guess yeah.
