Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone's run across this problem yet? I bought a Kingston 16gb sdhc class4 for use on my Cowon o2 8gb, but I can't see all the data on it if I'm using the music browser -> sd card. It only shows up half the collection or something.
But when I use the actual browser it shows everything that's on the card. And I've tested files playing from the card on my computer, and I've also copied it over from the SD card to the player and the folder plays fine. I've also tried formatting it again and reloading the files. So I'm wondering does anyone know a solution to make it show all the files so I can play them from the SD card ? |

You might need to format your SD card using this program - make sure your music is backed up.
http://panasonic.jp/support/global/c...formatter.html Sometimes the windows formatter doesn't get it quite right. Download button is WAYY on the bottom of the page. Took me a while to find it, but that's probably just me.. haha

Hey SJF, you were right, it seems the formatter fixed the problem, and to think I wasted time having to rename everything because i thought it was a tagging problem with the files. Thanks alot.

What I'm having issues with now, is not seeing the little window pop up to ask me if I want to connect to the device or the SD card in the device... Anyone know of what I'm doing wrong?
Do I need to add more software? I don't see any on their website or the mini disc that came with it. |

You are not doing anything wrong that's how the O2 works when you connect to your computer and the O2 is on, it gives you the option of selecting whether you want to access the internal memory or the sd card. By the way that is the only way to access the sd card. If you plug the O2 into your computer when it is off it it goes to the internal memory.

Thanks a bunch Revmike. I did figure it out when I plugged it in tonight! Some things aren't documented, but I still am learning this player. Getting used to it.
Boy, it is awesome though. With the eagerly anticipated firmware updates coming I am looking forward to a long and healthy relationship with my O2. |

"Some things aren't documented"
I'm just guessing but I bet the reason this isn't documented is because it's a bug. ![]() Barry |

It's in the manual page 11. Reading is your friend.
