Nope....unless you want to put rockbox on it, and I don't think it is 100% ready.

I just bought a Sandisk 8 GB microSD card for my Fuze, got it on sale at Staples. When I got home and took it out of the package, and looked closer at the back information, it says it is Class 2.
Is that too slow? Should I return it? That was the only 8 GB microSD card they had (from Sandisk). I can return it if need be, but it's an hour drive to the store...but I can order one from Newegg or Amazon.

Check out Tigerdirect.com they have Class 6 micro cards cheep. I picked up a 4gig class 6 a couple mos. ago for about $14. You can also see every ones ratings & reviews. Sandisk costs more & lower reviews.
Tigerdirect.com has very low prices, fast & accurate shipping, very good site, .... Check it out & let me know. |

The Class rating on flash cards is a minimum number, not a cap. So a Class 2 card is guaranteed to never drop below a 2MB/second write speed. Manufacturers tend to err on the side of caution, so the actual speed is often higher. And of course, reading from a card, which is what the Fuze will do with it, is always way faster than writing to it.

yeah..about a month ago I got a couple of microSD card readers. $2.47 each PLUS the free shipping! And it takes about 2 weeks (10 business days) to ship to Canada. I Love DX!
