Is Fuze going to be discontinued?

I am from Singapore and wanted to get a Fuze. I went to several shops and they said the distributors are all trying to clear stock, so there are none left.

After hearing that, I suspected that Sandisk is going to discontinue Sansa line or completely revamp the whole line.

It's possible after all, they have not updated it for a year or so. Anyway, the shop is selling 16gb View(left a few sets) at 189 Sing dollars, which translate to about 122 US dollars.

Any thoughts?

They may very well be readying a higher capacity Fuze, but there's no way it's being discontinued yet. I think the View will be the next discontinued model, given that there have been no firmware updates in almost a year.

Marvin, I agree with you and I doubt that SanDisk will be discontinuing the Fuse anytime soon. But AFAIK the View was already discontinued.

They just upgraded the hardware on Fuze so I don't think they'll discontinue it for a while.

to avoid being spam myself, no they will not discontinue the fuze because they still make fw upgrades for it. also, no new models are out yet, so theres no point in doing so
