Using X-Fi without screen

Howdy folks
After a fairly messy party I woke up to find my X-FI screen fogged up and the player not working. Performed open heart surgery on the little fella, got it working but screen didn't make it through.

I've found i can still play music but without a screen its difficult to acess.

Would anyone be kind enough to talk me through the sequence of button presses needed to play all your mp3 collection from the main list?

I presume pressing the back button(top right) enough times would take it to a common start point.
