so, my sansa video converter was working fine yesterday, and with the same video today, i went to convert it onto my fuze again cause i accidentally deleted it, and it will convert, but it wont write it :S

sounds like it's corrupt. Either remove it and reinstall or reinstall over top. That's my suggestion. The obvious would be...is the Fuze plugged in when using SMC?. Is the player in MSC mode when converting your video?.

Try unplugging other USB devices, like flash drives. THat's what seemed to fix a problem I had with SMC. Unfortunately I also did a couple of other things around the same time.

Also try restarting your computer and the Fuze. You'd be surprised how many frustrating problems I've come across with mine/friends/family's computers that are solved by restarting.
