Hi, a couple of questions about the Fuze. I have an e200 series which has the headphone jack problem, I've opened it up a few times and tried to fix it but it keeps coming back so I'm looking at getting a Fuze.
Firstly does the Fuze have any similar headphone jack problems? (the 3.5mm jack becomes slightly dislodged and the sound only comes out of one headphone) Secondly I have an Inmotion docking station like this one http://www.thinkdeal.net/page/shop/f...oduct_id/27954 is the fuze compatible with this, or does anyone know if the usb slot is the same as the e200? Oh I did say two questions but I have just thought of another, is there any restriction on the size of the SD card? Thanks in advance! |

I haven't noticed any issue with the phone jack on my Fuze, and it takes SDHC, so no restrictions other than what you can get your hands on right now. I'll let someone who knows about docks answer that question.

I've had mine for about 4 months now, and it gets some heavy use at the gym, around home while I'm working, and I'm using V-moda Vibes with the straight connector (so it gets smacked occasionally). I've had zero issues with the jack (or the fuze for that matter).

The e200 and Fuze have the same port, so it should work with your dock. I've had my Fuze since the day it was released. No problems with the jack and I've yanked on it on more than one occassion.

The only "issue" per say with the phones jack is that you need to make sure your phones are plugged all the way in. Can take a bit of force to get them to snap into place. The fuze has a much tighter fit than the E200 series had and no problem with the solder as the E200 had either.
They are a great player..... if you liked the E200 you will love the FUZE! |

Yeah, the phone jack on the Fuze feels solid and tight.
It takes slightly more force to insert it than I'm used to with my laptop and pda. But that's a good thing because if you drop it, the jack holds it up and it just swings around without hitting the ground. |

Got it now, really pleased with it! Just to confirm it works fine with the docking station (although I emailed the manufacturer and they said there was no docking station compatible with the Fuze!)
Only issue is that I bought some headcandy earphones for my old sansa e200 whihc don't appear to work with the fuze, no sound unless you wiggle the jack around, the headphones you get with it are huge, more like frying pans! |

Make sure the plug is all the way in. It can take what seems to be unreasonable force to seat it properly.
