Same here, only XviD/MPEG4-SP/AVI seems to really work in 720p resolutions. At least no other codec/container worked for me so far (h.264/WMA/MP4/MKV/etc).

Woohoo, another firmware with no useful fixes.

Changelog once again seems like a copy/paste job from former firmwares.

DAM!

I was going to post that exact thing!

Well, here's the Google Translate page -
http://translate.google.com/translat...istory_state0=

Also, is it me or are those updates not all that great? I hardly understand much of the Half Korean/ Half English translation of Google, but it doesn't have the updates everyone was waiting for - UI update(Release a dumb UIC - That's for modding UI's, right?) I don't see added MKV support but I hope it will run faster UI wise.

Oh! If I use the Korean FM, it won't screw me over, right? And when the English one is released, I could update from that one, right?

Damn, you're fast. I'm checking daily in the morning for new firmwares - them releasing it in the evening is a surprise. Thanks for posting.

Too bad there's nothing useful in the new firmware... they didn't seem to implement anything Enzo and me suggested to them.

The Korean and English firmwares are the same, it doesn't matter. It works on my english O2!

Of course, it's always been like that with O2 firmwares.

Let's hope that they will be one step ahead for the next firmware... - if nothing else it is wishful thinking.

Some minor changes, but as you say not great. I didn't really care about video speed displayed on the screen, or the A--B repeat... Who really wanted that anyway?

C'mon Cowon, let's focus on what really matters! ----- uhhh please?

Exactly - nothing of importance got fixed... at all. Still gigantic gaps and clicks between audio tracks, still obnoxious popups reminding me of crap i don't care about, no video skipping, no way to change font color, no MPEG2/VOB/FLV support, no SDHC integration, and so on...

Only real improvement seems to be the zoom in the image viewer. It's not abysmal anymore. Too bad I don't watch porn on the O2, otherwise I would care about that. And it only took them 5 months to realize the zoom sucks...

So does this mean the korean/english dictionaries will work on the American O2 as well?

This firmware is - for me - actually a step back, rather than forward. One of the few features that worked (and that I really use a lot) is now broken: pan&scan gets reset after each movie. Before 1.28 it stayed at the desired pan&scan level until the next reboot. It's more than annoying having to adjust pan&scan again after each 7 minute cartoon episode I'm watching.
