Sansa fuze problem

so i just got my sansa fuze today.
everytime i click the screen goes black, after two secs it goes back on, if i move again it does it again, and on, and on.

What are your back light settings?

If it was my Fuze I would take it back to the store for an exchange. If you just got it today, is it really worth the hassle to figure it out when you can just replace the player?
