Default ZEN M 30 GB problems

My ZEN M 30 GB without any evident reasons lost most of mp3 database. There was about 4000 mp3s and now there is only 200 of them but in system informations it shows origin capacity datas (it means that hdd contains all of mp3s). I have also 4 GB removable disc for datas here and this seems to be ok. When I connect my ZEN to PC as player, system does not recognize it and write that it is not connected. When I connect ZEN as removable disc it is connected and recognized. Can anybody please explain where is mistake and how to repair it? Thanks. Peter.

Hello. I would boot into Recovery Mode and select a Cleanup from the menu. This will repair any database errors the ZVM may be having and may resolve the lack of detection issue.
