Default x-fi "super-rips"

Just a quick question, that I can't find the answer to anywhere. The Creative x-fi features an option to super-rip into mp3, which gives a much improved sound (whether it's a "better" sound is open to debate). However, if I try to transfer these rips to any mp3 player it comes back as unsupported, even though it appears to be a standard mp3 file. As a newbie to the world of mp3, I'm just wondering why this is. Any help would be appreciated.

The software came with the card (I believe that some of the cards do not come with the full software suite). The app is in Creative Mediasource Organizer. When you insert a CD into your drive, you get the option to rip in standard, or to super-rip.

Before you go and get comfortable with this program, check this out: www.answersthatwork.com . .click on TASK LIST.. then the letter C.. go down to CTHelper.exe,CTDVDDet.exe,CTNotify.exe and all other Creative files. You will see that they may cause you many headaches to come-I am experiencing some myself with a file mplayer.exe and still haven't isolated it to see where it is located to eliminate it-it uses 100% cpu sometimes and causes windows explorer to crash-just wanted you to know.
