Unhappy iRiver want 50 to fix my Clix 2 headphone jack

Is there any way I can fix it myself? The jack has become unstable, the sound cuts out if the headphone plug is moved around and such - I think I've read about this problem on here before.

I don't think it's worth paying 45 to fix a very small component of a 100 mp3 player. Shame, it's only a month or two out of warranty too.
