silver sansa fuze photos?

Can someone post, or point me at some good user photos of the silver sansa fuze?

Trying to decide if it is worth the extra fuss to import the 8gb black fuze, since afaict the silver one looks rather ugly.

That actually doesn't really do it justice... the "silver" Fuze is way way darker than that. Compared to mine, that photo looks white.

I've seen that, along with all the other dodgy sales images, but can't believe its a good representation of what the fuze actually looks like.

I've just found and been running through the "Show off your portable audio stuff!" thread. Only found one phone camera image of the silver fuze so far. Seems as if most people have black.

Ok, I just took my fuze out of its skin to take a few pics...

First pic is without flash, so it's a little blurry. Fuze "silver" is more like dark gray with tiny metallic flecks.

Another Canadian looking for a black Fuze? If so, the local Wal-Mart had a black 4GB Fuze this morning for $85. Add a micro SDHC card to make it bigger.

BTW, $80 for a silver 8GB Fuze.

I thought of it as "pewter" and they look much nicer in person than in the Sansa official web pics.

Thanks Fallstar! That is exactly what I was after, its not as ugly as I thought. The decision is still tough however, as I do prefer the look of the black fuze.

I am probably being silly weighing up the hassle of importing, alternate chargers, loss of warranty, etc... against a color.

I purposely bought the sliver/steel color. It's beautiful, metallic flakes and high gloss, and this color goes perfectly with the blue dial lighting. I love it!

I wouldn't go so far as to call it beautiful, but I think the silver Fuze looks just fine. Almost as good as the black one.

Pfft...are we going to argue aesthetics? There is no right or wrong here, just preference. The black is nice, sophisticated I guess, but uh, generic. I wouldn't throw a black Fuze out the window, but I would buy a sliver one instead if given the chance, as I did!

Lol, no, me either, I was being lightheartedly sarcastic in my last post, sorry that it didn't come out that way. That's the problem with writing online, one can not hear another's tone! I suppose I should have inserted a or behind my first sentence to help better convey my meaning.

No argument intended or any type of offense meant or taken! Both players are nice, as the Fuze is one of the better looking players out there imo.

My red Clip looks nice....my blue Fuze looks nice....and my black Clip looks nice. I do like the looks of the silver Fuze, but the silver Clip with the mirror finish is the better of the silvers, IMO. Anyone want to defend the two shades of pink? lol

I've never seen a sliver Clip up close, but my sliver Fuze is glossy if that's what you mean by mirror finish.

The whole front of the silver Clip is mirror-like....I don't know if it would even translate in a picture. The downside is that supposedly it is hard to read in bright surroundings. I've only seen one indoors, so I can't say how true that may be.

Yea, you can't tell what these things look like until you have them in hand. Judging which one is better than the other based on pics isn't really accurate. It's like looking at a car finish online, they look a lot different in person and under different lighting conditions!

Marvin, I like the mirror finish on the clip best too, looks cool and that stuff they say about not being able to see it in sunlight is bunk. I’ve yet to find any player I can see well in the FL sunlight ... I’ve just learned to cup them to read the screen
