Default Vista killed my ZEN!

Anyone else out there have this problem? I have ZEN:M, plugged into laptop with Windows XP and it works great...plug it into PC with Vista and it freezes every time...finally one day it doesn't wake up and is now dead! I do have an AC adapter as well as a USB but neither will charge it...any comments?

Have you used the reset to try & turn it on while plugged into the AC charger? How old is the player?Could just be a dead battery.

I sure have! I think it's beyond dead and you're probably right about the the battery...my only question is why was it just fine prior to hookin' up to PC?

Who knows could just have been it's time.Battery is easy to replace. Do you get any sign of life after being plugged in to the AC adapter for a few hours? It can also be other things(motherboard, usb cable, not likely but the dongle ect.) Hope you are using a real Creative dongle & not a generic all in one. They can reek havoc on the player. I don't recommend using them.
