Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone? I use it regularly to record rough demos, but i find the mic is way to sensitive, and overloads all the time.
Was this resolved in the Firmware update? Or is there a way i can contact Sandisk directly? Fankoooh' in advance! |

I wonder if muffling it with something (piece of tape might be enough) would work for you. I would imagine it might degrade the sound quality in other ways too though.

Hmmm, I'll give it a go. It will definitely attenuate the highs & lows though. But yeah, nothing ventured nothing gained, eh?
I was thinking of making a sort of 'noise box' for it, (a padded egg box really) Just to separate the fuze and the source a bit. I'll try that at some point, too. It's ridiculously sensitive though, i have to have the Fuze about 6-7 meters away, with just me and an acoustic playing at a fairly moderate level. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for Sandisk to add it on. |
