Hello,
Did you find how to solve this issue? I hope it's possible (perhaps in a future firmware?). Like you said the poor autonomy (relative to other devices like cowon S9) is probably linked to this problem, so it would be nice if somebody can solve it. Kind regards |

If you turn the SPINN off, instead of putting it to sleep, the bluetooth is OFF until you pick a device to connect to (in settings/bluetooth). One thing I just discovered is that my SPINN has control of volume over bluetooth! The Samsung P2 could do this but nothing else I've got could. Well done, iriver!

Thank you for your reply, Olley
Which version of the firmware do you use on your SPINN? Mine is running v2.10 MF, and after turning off then turning on the SPINN is still visible in Bluetooth devices on my phone. (I checked that "Power Off type" was set on "Power Off" instead of "Sleep"). Maybe a firmware issue?? |

v2.20, and it looks to be the Korean version since it has DMB but no DMB hardware inside. I've confirmed that in this firmware, under Set/Bluetooth no devices are connected and there is no bluetooth icon showing until I select a device to connect to. Once I select a device it'll try and connect. If it succeeds I get two icons beside it, an O and an X. The O signifies connection and tapping the X will disconnect it. Once connected the bluetooth icon appears at the top of the screen to the right of the time. If I tap the X and disconnect the bluetooth icon disappears.
