Default Dust under my screen...

Long time lurker, but new member. and i have a problem and its so frustrating.. theres dust under my screen and its like the size of 4 dead pixels just sticking out.. .. anyone know how to get it out from under the screen? any help would be greatly appreciated.

you sure its not 4 dead pixels? the only way would be to take it apart and clean the back but as you would likely end up with more dust inside it then and possibly break it id recomend just taking it back to the store for a replacement.

be careful if you do try doing anything, i've tried getting dust out of various appliances a few times and normally end up doing more harm than good.

I agree with Olley . The dust must have come in from a hole or something . So find it and try to suck the dust

maybe used compressed air and shoot it via the headphone jack or proprietary connection?
this seems to happen to a lot of players includeing the touch

Don't blow air into the jack, but instead blow it across the jack opening. It'll create a suction that may help suck out dust that's inside.

yeah im pretty sure they arent four dead pixels garyk.. you can see that its like a squiggly piece of lint.. and i dont quite know how it got in there.. but i can try to use compressed air to get it out i guess.. has it worked before?

i also wouldnt be able to take it back to the store as i couldnt wait and bought it on ebay..

hey guys... sorry for the double post.. but the dust is still under my screen and i've tried what you guys suggested but it isnt coming out.. anyone knows any better ideas?

Send it back to Samsung, or see if you can get it exchanged at the store you purchased it from. But, in no way should you open the P3 up. You'll void any warranty you may have, and you might accidentally damage the player.
