Disable album art

hi, i was wondering if it is possible to disable the album art on the latest S series walkman? I was thinking of getting one of them and I am not one who bothers with tagging album art. So is there anyway to remove the album art thing on the now playing screen? as in i only want the now playing screen to display the essentials. And no, i wldn't like an ugly question mark(like the ipod) or some weird logo replacing the album art on the screen. thks.

nope I dont think there is a way to remove album arts on the walkman.. Why do u want to remove it anyways?? when you havn't tagged it with album art it just shows up with a walkman logo, its not that bad

well its jus a thing i had after buying the ipod classic. i didnt know the newer generations require the album art or else it would be a huge ugly thing in its place. yeah its jus me, and dun really like the sound.
