Default question about autoplaylist

i think that's where I have problem most

can I group music by only the album?
can I group music by more than one genre?

Is there any way to let me do that?

or, is there any way to import a playlist from itune?

i don't think you can group by album only. you can group by more than one genre, in the genre window do either exclude or include and then in the next window type whatever genre's you want separated by a semi colon.

i'm pretty sure you can't import itunes playlists. i'll look into it.

just wondering if this would work for artists?
like i have a song that has about 30 artists, and these overlaps some of the other songs.

the function i want to use is:
when i use the search function in the zune, it would shorten the artist list.

I don't think i explain well, here is a short example:
song A by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ...30
song B by 1 and 3
song C by 6 and 8
song D by 1 and 8

right now, they are in unique names, so the search function can't um... I still can't explain it...

but I want to search the artist 1 and the result shows song A, B, and D

if there are no such function, no big deal

yeah...this should work for artist, too. just separate each artist with a semicolon

otherwise, just create a .m3u playlist and drop it in the Zune playlist folder under My Music.

You can also try MusicIP dot com playlist software (works like Apple Genius - but better since you can have more control). It does seem to work with DRM tracks as long it can match tags with tracks in MusicIP's database. Just have MusicIP save the playlist as m3u into the Zune playlist folder and Zune will automatically add it to the Zune playlists. Zunes own autoplaylist feature is very basic.
