My E436F has an option "Add to Wishlist/Remove from Wishlist". According to the manual, it "adds the song to the wish list to purchase it on the service corresponded software./ Removes the song from the wish list."
If the song is already on my player, why would I want to buy it again? Am I missing something here? |

The S639 has this option- it's for subscription content that may expire. I agree it's a bit redundant, since like you I already own everything on the player.

I've heard that some subscription services allow you to keep a certain number of tracks permanently (they don't disappear when you end your subscription). I wonder if "Wishlist" could be used to indicate which tracks you want to permanently keep.

I think it's more as a reminder to your PC and subscription service which tracks you definitely want to buy once they have expired.
