Default Incredible deal on new A729s!! 70 shipped.

Most reviews seem to complain a bit about the price... well here you have a 16GB A series for just a bit over half the price of a Nano.

It's where I got mine and I'm not going back.

At 70 it turns the Sony into a MUCH better prospect than the Nano, or even the Samsung Q1 Diamond or other 8 to 16GB players basically.

Root canal surgery is a better prospect than the Nano.. I'm a little envious- very nice player as a few on here can attest to.

I'll be honest there, if a touch screen had been what I wanted, the P3 was first on the list! I was even kinda sad that it wouldn't be for me as it seems to be quite the fun thing...
I'm a bit curious now as to how the A729 would do with some >40 headphones. I'm pretty happy with my setup so far, the player sounds very, very nice even with cheap ones.

I think the ones that come with the Sony are pretty good for stock buds.. Sennheiser cx300s can be had for 20 at advancedmp3's shop down in Ocean Terminal just now. They are quite good for a modest upgrade- quite bass-heavy.

Woa I had no idea AMP3 had shops, even less so in Ocean Terminal! I'll definitely have a trip over there.

Man I find out all this stuff just about 1 month before I have to leave Edi...

Their shop is pretty cool- it's where I've tested out a number of players before buying or not. Yesterday I was in John Lewis playing with the new Sony.

Thanks man!
I MAY buy these, to try I guess...
http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/...ones.1151.html as a graduation present treat

There seems to be a lot less choice on neckband quality phones out there...

EDIT: wait... hahah doh... I just realized, those Sony earbuds are probably going to be a lot better during plane trips... I don't think I'll upgrade just yet... though there are some very cheap CX300s on the bay...

I'm not too sure about what they've changed with the mark II version there- whether it's worth the extra over the original cx300s. They will have plenty of bass, though- I find myself using different settings for different phones..

Some people have had bad experiences with fake cx300s, so I'd be careful about ordering on ebay..

About the A729,... I would still have my A829 (blue tooth model) if it had hit the 32gb mark. I loved that player, as I actually prefer tactile controls over touch.

If Sony released a 32gb S63X series player I'd be all over it as well. The SQ, controls, size, and form factor are (IMO) perfect!!!! Video is optional for me it seems,.....

I'm trying to think of something to add, but I can't! I agree 100% with everything written above

I'd love to get a few of these, one for myself and to replace some ipods for family members! Anybody willing to help me out because of that company's UK-only shipping policy? I live in California.
