Default Whats the different between S639 and S739?

1. S639 and S739 apart from NC, I'm not intending to use the default headphone if Sennheiser CX500 is better. - Why is it that I find S739 cheaper than S639?
2. What are all the suffix of the models mean? e.g. S639FS, sometime I see FS, FR, FB, etc...

Thanks

I may be wrong, but I think the F stands for FM radio, perhaps?

The letters (FB, FS, FR)must refer to the color of the player, probably like Black, Silver, Red...

I think the above is correct.

As to the difference between s639 and 739, it is simply that the 739 has noise cancelling- turn it off if you don't want it. The headphones that come with the 739 are really good, but if you don't want to use them, then don't. You may find it is occasionally useful to use the NC, for example on plane travel- it works well in this case and you can even plug in the planes audio so you can listen to the films with NC thru the player.
So bottom line is if the s739 is cheaper, buy that- worst sceanario is you won't use the NC, but why pay MORE to get less features?!
