OK chaps can I assume that if I use the reset button I will loose all info music and vids etc on the player. My Walkman now all of a sudden will not be recognised by my pc just hangs says connecting bit does not charge or open in Media Manager etc. any thoughts woul be welcome. thanks

I'm pretty sure that it won't delete ur music.

Thanks for that reply strangly enough I later plugged it into my laptop and it was recognized straght away. So now it seems I have to transfer music or vids to a memory stick on my PC take that to the laptop and transfer from there what a faf must be a way to get my pc to see the Walkman as it used to....

Re all the above I have now reinstalled Media Player 11 again and now the Walkman is recognised. Not sure why as MP 11 was already on the PC and was recognised up till a week ago. So that maybe a fix reinstall MP 11
