Default P3 Screen

Well im somewhat new to these forums, but i had some questions about the screen of the P3.

I'm starting to worry about the screen scratching, i know they are supposed to be durable but mine i've had for a week and theres already a somewhat large scratch down it, and i was wondering if anyone knows daily things that would scratch it. Also, with it being a touch screen, i was wondering if it was dangerous to use this when it's raining outside.

If someone could answer these for me, it would be appreciated.

Hi. Firstly the screen is really durable. Sand/dust may scratch it as that happened to someone with a Cowon S9 which has a similar screen.

It's best not to use it when it's raining out side - same with any DAP.

I've had mine 5 months and it's scratch/blemish free. Make sure the pocket you have your P3 in doesn't have any dust/lint in it.

Thanks for the answers, i also wanted to know if anyone had some cleaning tips of the screen, if using like a damp cloth would damage the touch screen.

Yea my screen has a few small scratches on it. I think coins may do it... or maybe, like someone else said, sand. But there's not any sand around here

No, a damp cloth is fine. Won't ruin it, as far as I know.

clean in a circular motion. it's the rule of thumb for screen-cleaning

Yeah- I have one of those cloths too, it's mainly fingerprints that you notice.

Don't take it out of your pocket when it's raining. When it's raining hard I even put my iems away.

I also wanted to know, with somewhat big fingers editing the DNSe is a huge pain. So i was thinking, would it be possible to edit the settings through a computer or something? I know the settings are stored in some sorta file.
