Cowon O2 Startup Screens

I have a few startup screens that some may be interested in. These are great as alternatives to the sometimes boring Cowon startup screens.

First, there is a thread that talks about putting new startup screens on your Cowon O2. This thread is over on iAudiophile My purpose here is not to tell you how to do it, but to give you some new screens.

If you want to make some of your own, you can get the official logos of a few different sizes from this address.

My personal favorites are included in the zip file.

They are black screens with the small blue logo and Digital Pride above it. The other is a large Cowon logo with the Digital Pride above it, as well.

I find that it is less annoying when it is dark outside when I turn on my player. It is rather blinding if you're not used to it. This way, the darker logos help with adjusting to the brightness.

I made a few test screens myself, but anything besides a white background doesn't look good, due to the annoying aliased/framed fonts for the initializing sequence. I went back to the stock one, even if it's way too bright.

Oh well. That doesn't bother me. I, or someone else could lighten the area where the text would overlay the image under the red logo to give you a better blending of fonts.

Here's my PsychedelicHarley 1981 FLHC (Electra Glide Classic) O2 startup screen
Would be great if themes could be used as well as a lot more applications (including games)
