Hello,
with the latest rockbox version on my fuze when I try to skip to the next song it still takes long "much longer than with the original firmware". Am I the only one with this problem ? Any hints what to do ? thanks |

define..."long, much longer"?. On mine the skip is almost instant. If it's long and bothers you I would reinstall Rockbox, starting from the beginning.

Long means as I said much longer than with the original firmware .
I would estimate about 3 - 5 seconds . Rockbox installation has be done from scratch (deleted rockbox dir and copied again). I have to add that I use a 8G fuze with a 16g mem card and have about 1600 songs on it at the moment . Can it be a fileysystem problem ? (I dont think it can be the dual boot bootloader I use which is about 3 months old ). regards |

Have you disabled crossfade from your settings? Sounds like the track is just taking a few seconds to fade one track into the next maybe...

I was about to suggest crossfade too.
