I have the P3 and just started putting videos on it, as i only used to use it as a music player.
Anyway, the video it comes preloaded on the sheep in the island, that quality is really amazing and it fits the screen. At the moment I download music videos of of youtube, each video always comes out different, sometimes its good quality and others its bad, and sometimes it fits the whole screen sometimes its really small. I use emodio to convert the video i start with and avi file and emodio converts it to svi, also the convert setting are set to high quality (400), the fps to 25, the screen size is 480 by 272 Is there any way of setting the video so it will fit the screen and be good quality so its not pixely Thanks for and help in advance!!! |

Just depends on the quality and resolution of the video on youtube.

You are right, HD Youtube videos come in many different resolutions and audio qualities. The HQ22 is the best (1280x720, stereo, MP4) but is not supported by the P3, you will need to convert it to smaller resolution. However, the HQ18 is good too (480x360 or 480x240, stereo, MP4) and you don't need to convert it. The P3 supports .avi and .mp4 but with some codec restrictions.
So, your FLV video downloader must show you the availables formats for downloading; if doesn`t, try some. The music video HQ22 is around 60mb and the HQ18, 20mb. |
