Default Creative Zen X-fi Driver Download

So recently I purchased this Acer Aspire One Netbook which doesn't have a CD/DVD Drive After struggling a lot, I could find a link to the drivers here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JFS36QD6. It really took some time to find that I tell you, so i thought why not make it available to my ABI friends too

(Please let me know if such a thread or this link or anything similar to this has been posted earlier, in that case I'll remove this thread.)

No they don't. They only have the firmware.
Also in case you are a user of netbooks which don't have a CD/DVD drive, you'll be in trouble again.

You can download the 'Creative Zen X-Fi Starter pack'

Really? Please find for me a working link to it on creative's official website then

As of now the download is not available on their website, that being the reason I've uploaded this for your convenience. Please check the validity of your comment before you make it.

JunglePimp, Just for you

Don't complain if the link isn't accessible via your internet provider. If so it's Your provider's problem. works fine for me.

The above link was accessed from

Dear Friend Zenon, Just for you:
http://in.creative.com/Getstarted/ZenXFi/

http://us.creative.com/Getstarted/ZenXFi/

http://uk.europe.creative.com/Getstarted/ZenXFi/

http://asia.europe.creative.com/Getstarted/ZenXFi/

Any beginner searching for the starter pack after losing the "starter pack" disk, would get to those links. Secondly, do you see a difference in the size of the starter pack (14.1 mb) in your link, and the set of drivers in my link? (90 mb). It is very impractical of you to assume that an ISP would not provide access to a particular website, while it provides access to the rest. Also, After having tried the starter pack, my pc(s) could not successfully recognize zen as an mtp device, it only happened after I installed the drivers from the CD (and the link provided). I mean I just made a casual effort to make it less confusing and reduce the hassles for the beginners, and you are making me argue over it. I have nothing more to say.

Default X-Fi mac Driver?

I know im probably going to be hurled abuse at, but I need a driver for my Zen to use on my iMac.
I'm a firm believer of hatred towards iPods but I need the Mac for my work. Does anyone know of any third party drivers? I know they used to make them for the old Creative Nomad series but haven't found anything for the new versions.

Well the policy of ABI is not to hate the iPods... (at least publicly.. lol ).
I tried to look for solutions to your problem, but wasn't very successful. In fact i haven't yet heard of any MAC support for zen, we can only hope for it in the new Zen X-fi 2 I guess.

Anyway in this case I'd recommend you to wait for a more helpful response on this thread and meanwhile also email creative and ask for a solution.

XNJB gives Mac support to Creative players. There is none yet for X-Fi 2 but judging by this short thread it could be added soon. Get in touch with XNJB.
